Bedside Diagnosis of Double-Valve Endocarditis: A Rare Diagnosis

Infectious endocarditis is associated with high morbidity and mortality, so its early diagnosis and treatment are crucial. Double-valve endocarditis is an uncommon and less studied condition, which has a worse prognosis and higher mortality rate.
Bedside ultrasound has emerged as an indispensable tool in urgent and emergency medicine, allowing for earlier diagnoses.
We present the case of a previously healthy man with Streptococcus gordonii double-valve endocarditis diagnosed by point-of-care ultrasound.
